In high school, Jaclyn Domsohn wasn’t sure what to study in college. She knew she enjoyed math and physics, but she hadn’t thought about engineering. That changed after she started taking classes at Penn State Brandywine, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 2021. She is now a mechanical engineer in the Mobility Division of CTDI, a global company in the communications, mobility and consumer devices service industries.
Eight years after earning her bachelor’s degree from Penn State, Maria Gagas, class of 2016, is helping current students at her alma mater find internships.
One-hundred thirty graduates received their bachelor’s degrees at Penn State Brandywine’s spring 2024 commencement ceremony on May 4 in the campus gymnasium. An additional four students were awarded associate degrees. Brandywine Chancellor Marilyn J. Wells commended the graduates for their persistence that led to the milestone occasion.

Penn State Brandywine first-year student Cecilia Ballas developed a love of flying as an eight-year-old traveling on vacation to Florida. She began flight lessons during her senior year of high school and earned her pilot’s license last fall, all while keeping up with her college studies.
